Inky Fingers continues it’s journey On The Road to Badger & Co. on Castle St from 8pm on Tuesday 7 June with the rather marvellous Roddy Shippin.
Roddy Shippin is anti-war, anti-cuts and anti-histamine. He resides in Edinburgh, where he helps to run the monthly spoken word open mic night Blind Poetics and contributes to the violent destruction of all things verse that is Poets Against Humanity. He has also served as poetry editor at the possibly-defunct Valve journal. Poems of his have appeared in such places as Gutter, Magma, and Poetry Scotland – sometimes he didn’t even have to staple them in himself, which he takes as a good sign. He holds the pub quiz-worthy distinction of being the first open micer at the first ever Inky Fingers event, all the way back in the early 2010s.
We also want YOU! We want your stories, poems, rants, lists, epic fantasy trilogies set in space, you name it. To get a five minute open mic space email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Join us for a night of poetry, stories, and fun! And a raffle!
