Last Christmas I gave you my heart
But the very next day you gave it away
Next year, to save me from tears,
I’m going to Inky Fingers
This month we are very happy to be featuring the wonderful Murid L Keshtmand. Murid is a poet and student based in Edinburgh. They’re the host of Poetry Night at The Peanut Gallery and perform regularly at festivals and poetry events across edinburgh, most recently the Edinburgh Multicultural Festival and Scotland in Colour Festival. Alongside their poetry, they work as part of the editorial collective for ‘Re:think: the journal of creative ethnography’ and as a freelance graphic designer.
If you would like to be featured in our open mic, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
